Catalyzed Clearcoat provides the durability and shine of a professional 2K urethane clearcoat in a convenient aerosol format — designed for trained professionals. This high-performance clear includes a self-contained hardener located inside the can. Once activated by pressing the bottom pin, the hardener releases and mixes with the clearcoat; shaking for two minutes completes the process and creates a ready-to-spray catalyzed finish.

Professionals prefer this formula for its ability to produce a hard, glossy, automotive-grade topcoat that resists environmental wear and requires no polishing after application. Common challenges that pros face without catalyzed clearcoat include:

Important Safety Notes:
This urethane clearcoat contains Isocyanates, making it extremely toxic without proper respiratory protection. Only trained professionals with suitable spray equipment and an approved respirator should use this product. PaintScratch respirators are rated for isocyanate protection.

Because catalyzed clearcoat cures quickly and cannot be easily removed or re-worked once applied, it is considered an advanced-use product. If imperfections occur (dust, drips, etc.), wait at least 48 hours before recoating or correcting the area with rubbing compound.
